Extra precautions during the holiday season go a long way in ensuring that our community stays safe. Everyone plays a role in preventing crime, including during the busiest shopping and travel times of the year. If you see something suspicious, report it to law enforcement immediately. Stay safe, and have a wonderful holiday season!
Pasco Sheriff’s Office frequently receives reports of package theft, especially as we head into the holiday season. Help eliminate the opportunity for package theft by following these tips:
- Have packages delivered to a community office or a trusted neighbor
- Install a visible security camera
- Request curbside or in-store pick-up from retailers
- Schedule a delivery time when you’re available
- Use delivery lockers if available near you
Following these safety tips can help reduce your likelihood of becoming a victim.

Pasco Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Farm Share, the Pasco County NAACP, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, the Gentlemen’s Course and the Samaritan Corporation of Pasco Inc. for a free community food distribution! The next food distribution event will be at the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee on Thursday, December 15 and will begin at 9 a.m. It’s first come first served, so come out early! We’re thrilled to connect our community to this resource. See you there!
