School Alert: Zephyrhills Area Schools

Update: Zephyrhills Police Department has determined there is no threat to the schools and the schools are returning to normal operations. The investigation is ongoing.

Original Alert: Zephyrhills High School, R.B. Stewart Middle School, Woodland Elementary School and West Zephyrhills Elementary School are all on controlled campus at this time out of an abundance of caution. Zephyrhills Police Department is investigating a shooting within the city of Zephyrhills. Pasco Sheriff’s Office is assisting ZPD with their investigation. There is currently no threat to any of the schools and the controlled campus status is again out of an abundance of caution.
