Wesley Chapel High School and Wesley Chapel Elementary School were on controlled campus status earlier today while law enforcement investigated reports of suspicious individuals in the area. Deputies discovered the reports to be unfounded. At this time, there are no threats to the schools, and they have resumed normal operations.
