Sunlake High School was briefly on controlled campus status out of an abundance of caution due to a report of unauthorized people on campus. Rushe Middle School was also on controlled campus due to its proximity to Sunlake High School. The controlled campus status has since been lifted, and PSO continues to investigate this incident.
