School Alert: River Ridge Middle School & River Ridge High School

Update: The reports of a possible weapon on campus appear to be a hoax. Pasco Sheriff’s Office completed a thorough search of the school and did not locate a weapon. There are no immediate threats to the school. The investigation remains ongoing.

Deputies are assisting with a controlled dismissal as a precautionary measure. Please be patient as River Ridge Middle and High School staff and PSO deputies work to safely release students. A large law enforcement presence will remain in the area to ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
