School Alert: Land O’ Lakes High School

Update: PSO has arrested a 17-year-old Land O’ Lakes High School student in connection with a possible threat made toward the school yesterday. While PSO continued to investigation the possible threat yesterday, we discovered another student posted a SnapChat story which depicted a photo of an individual holding a gun. This photo is not of a Land O’Lakes High School student and was taken several months ago. The student that posted the photo to SnapChat yesterday does not know the individual in the photo. The student posted the photo with the intent to exacerbate the original investigation into another, unrelated possible threat at Land O’ Lakes High School. The student was arrest for Written Threats to Conduct a Mass Shooting, which is a felony. The investigation into the original possible threat yesterday remains ongoing.
