School Alert: Gulf Middle School

Update – April 26 – 12:24 p.m.: After continued investigation, it was determined that there was only an unconfirmed rumor of a weapon, and no weapon was seen on campus. Out of an abundance of caution, an increased law enforcement presence will remain on campus for the remainder of the day. The school will be moving off of controlled campus shortly.

Original Alert – April 26 – 11:40 a.m.: Gulf Middle School is currently on controlled campus status after a report of an individual on campus with a possible weapon. An investigation is ongoing. An update will be provided when available.
