School Alert: Chester Taylor Elementary School

Update: After a thorough search of the campus, deputies determined there was no weapon on the premises. There is no threat to Chester Taylor Elementary School, and normal operations have resumed.

Chester Taylor Elementary School is currently on controlled campus status out of an abundance of caution after receiving a report that there may be a weapon on campus. Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are actively canvassing the campus at this time. An update will be provided when available.
