PSO Named Florida’s 2023 School Crossing Guard Agency of the Year

While we may have celebrated Florida School Crossing Guard Appreciation Day on Friday, we have some exciting news! Pasco Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that PSO’s School Crossing Guard (SCG) unit was recognized as Florida’s 2023 School Crossing Guard Program/Agency of the Year (Large Agency) by the Florida Department of Transportation. This recognition celebrates the outstanding service PSO SCGs and Traffic Control Operators (TCOs) provide in support of pedestrian and traffic safety. PSO is grateful for their essential service and dedication to keeping our community and busy school zones safe.
