
On June 1, Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies received several reports of a possible “teen takeover” event planned around 10 p.m to occur in the Wesley Chapel area of Pasco County. PSO immediately staged additional units in the area as a precautionary measure to maintain and protect public safety.
As the evening progressed, several juveniles arrived at locations across the area, but were advised by PSO deputies to leave. No arrests were made during the event and no concerns for public safety arose.
While Pasco Sheriff’s Office did not see any significant incidents related to the “teen takeover” event, we want to ensure the citizens of Pasco County that PSO has zero tolerance for those who would do harm in our community, and we will hold all individuals accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
