

Community Alert: Suspicious Incident, New Port Richey

Original Alert: Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a suspicious incident which occurred on April 6 around 11 a.m. in the Adelaide Loop area of New Port Richey. A individual driving a Polaris Slingshot drove past a residence twice before entering the driveway to offer a ride to a juvenile, who was in their garage. The juvenile’s guardian overheard the conversation and asked the individual to leave. The individual apologized, stating that they mistook the residence for another person’s, and drove westbound on Adelaide Loop. The individual is described as an adult white man, between the ages of 70-80 years old, with yellow tinged white hair and a gray scruffy beard. The individual was wearing a white baseball cap with a circular NASCAR design and aviator sunglasses.
