Community Alert: Shooting, Port Richey

Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating a shooting, which resulted in the death of one adult male. On Feb. 15 around 9:05 p.m., PSO responded to a call regarding a shooting in the Old Orchard Ln. area of Port Richey. Preliminary information indicates that an argument between two adult men, who are known to each other, escalated and one man shot the other, which resulted in the death of the adult male. The shooter is currently detained. This is an isolated incident amongst known parties and there is no public safety threat, as all parties are accounted for. The investigation is ongoing, no additional information is available at this time.
