Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting of a person that occurred in the Ashen Ave. area of New Port Richey around 6:15 p.m. Preliminary information indicates that an argument between two adult men and one adult woman, who are known to each other, escalated, and one adult man shot the other adult man. The adult man that was shot was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The adult woman sustained no injuries during the incident. The suspect left in a vehicle prior to law enforcement’s arrival. PSO deputies continue to look for the suspect. This appears to be an isolated incident amongst known parties. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
