Community Alert: Shooting Into Occupied Dwellings, New Port Richey
Update, Mar. 18, 8:40 p.m.: After continued investigation, Pasco Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects identified as Anthony Calderon (DOB: 10/26/1992 ) and Giacomo Bonacasa Jr. (DOB: 9/17/2004) in relation to the shooting into occupied dwellings that occurred Mar. 17 around 11:45 p.m. in the Town Ave. area of New Port Richey. The car used in the shooting has also been located. All parties are accounted for and there is no public safety threat.
Original Alert, Mar. 18, 11:30 a.m.: Pasco Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in the Town Ave. area of New Port Richey. On Mar. 17, around 11:45 p.m., a suspect driving a silver car, pictured here, fired approximately 20 shots at residences. There were no injuries. This appears to be an isolated incident between known parties and there is no public safety threat. The investigation remains active and ongoing and no further information is available.
