Community Alert: Homicide, Land O’ Lakes
Update: PSO detectives continued the investigation of the homicide that occurred around 10 p.m. last night in the St. Luke Rd. area of Land O’ Lakes. As a result of this case, Dale Slaunwhite, 52, was charged with murder. All parties knew each other and are accounted for. Again, there is no public safety threat.
On April 17, around 10 p.m., Pasco Sheriff’s deputies received a call reporting a deceased adult male in the St. Luke Rd. area of Land O’ Lakes. Preliminary information indicates two individuals, who are known to each other, were involved in an argument that escalated. One adult male struck the other adult male with an ATV, resulting in the death.
There is no public safety threat. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
