Community Alert: Homicide, Dade City

Update 5/15/23: Pasco Sheriff’s detectives continued to investigate a homicide which occurred in the early morning of May 14. It’s been determined that the victim and the suspect, who are known to each other, had been arguing throughout the day on May 13. Just before midnight, the argument turned physical and the victim was fatally stabbed. As a result, the suspect was charged with murder. The investigation remains ongoing, and there is no public safety threat, as all parties are accounted for.

Original Post 5/14/23: Pasco Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating a homicide in the Blue Jay Mobile Home Park in Dade City. At approximately 12:15 a.m. today, an individual reported finding an adult female deceased inside of her residence with multiple stab wounds. A male suspect, who is known to the victim, is in custody. There is no public safety threat and the investigation is ongoing.
